New Reel by Piscifun

I just got a new Piscifun Honor 2000 and am anxious to try it out. It is a mid range priced reel and is on sale for about $60.00 at the website.
www.piscifun.com It has 11 ball bearings so it should be very smooth. I will update you'all on how it preforms

Seems like a decent reel. Lets go hit some local water so I can check that thing out.

Because I am old all my reels are old and made of metal, so I was pleasantly surprised at how light the reel is. I pounded Juniata yesterday for about 8 hours using a 9.9 pound braid in a heavy wind and found the reel handled the situation well. Very smooth retrieve. Only landed one good sized lmb so the drag only got one work out. Headed to Miramonte next week so the drag will get a good workout.

Every indication is the Miramonte is coming on strong. We ice fished in Jan and landed 50 between the two of us. Rainbows, cutts and a couple of browns. Most fish were in the 12 inch size but we managed several 16 to 18 inch fish.
