I have not had any success with the tail spinner. I like the faster sink rate or the original. As the water warms trout like to chase lures, so it is no surprise the the hair jigs are not working as well.

Yeah that sounds about right on the hair.I did start catching them in late June last year on the "UNC" but that is a Tailwater! I really didn't start getting into a multitude of Trout using it until Sept. at other locations.If you ever want to go to the Gunnison or UNC let me know?

I went there a couple of years ago and there was nobody that day.This last time there was about 5 people fishing with only a couple of them being locals The others were camping up at Blue Mesa which was nice!
